Today in math class today we did a time test. In specials we did songs and created our own music.
 We also decorated our own stockings. We read a factions book. We are still not finished.
 We completed our unit 2 reading assessment.We had inside recess.

We finished our explanatory essay on life cycles. We took a test over fractions. We did a moon paper. We had guidance. We also created a fraction tree.

We wrote a writing assignment on animal life cycles. We did a time test for multiplication for our Sundae in math and reviewed fractions. In art we watched a movie and ate popcorn. In library the teacher read a book about making a country, and we made are own country.

At specials we watched a movie. During reading we did multiple meaning words with m and m and started the unit 2 assessment. We completed a performance event on fractions in math. We wrote an explanatory essay on fossils.

We did our  FLUENCY... Also we did our SOMEDAY WRITING!!!We also did a times test. Today we had P.E. In P.E we did 2 DANCE'S for our PERFORMANCE!!!And had LIBRARY!!! We compared fractions in math.

Today we finished our explanatory writing on Sally Ride. We also  read an article and summarized an article about Marc Brown. We compared fractions using fraction strips. We continued working on our "Someday" piece of writing for the extravaganza.

In math we showed how to divide a cookie into fourths.  We had guidance today. A worked on our "Someday" writing. We had a test  in reading and spelling. We made a four square on Sally Ride for our explanatory writing practice.

Today we studied alliteration and repetition in poetry. We started our "Someday" writing and finished our explanatory writing from small group. We studied fractions using fraction strips. We read an article about the moon and wrote an explanatory essay on it.

First, we had D.E.A.R. time.(Drop Everything  And Read). Next we had our center time.Then we practiced our fractions. We had a great day!

The Dance Crew and Choir gave a wonderful performance today. 

Today in reading we read a poem. For writing we did plural possessive nouns and created a graphic organizer on Sally ride. We will use the organizer to write an explanatory essay.  For math we did fractions. And for specials we did music and we started making a song.  We got a new  dictionary. We had fun today.

Today in E.L.A we read the book called author a True Story.In math class we did fractions with cookies and we also watched a brain pop on the smart board about fractions. At the end of the day we worked on our card for "Best Relative of the year".

Today we had a vision screening. We studied author's purpose and vocabulary in reading.We also gave our presentations on inventors. We took a pretest on fractions.

Today our class went to the Spelling Bee in the gym. Ashley and Amelia both did a wonderful job representing our class in the bee. We went to guidance and  learned about friendship, and we did a skit on the difference on tattling and reporting. We finished our How To writing and reviewed multiplication and division.

In writing we did a how to do something. In math we did a times sheet and went over our test. In art we watched a video.We worked on our turkey for our economics unit.

It was an amazing time!

Today in class we did three tests, and in P.E. we did toss and line tag it was fun.
In lunch,we had a Thanksgiving meal. I didn't really like it that much, but I'm sure...
everybody else loved it. Ms. Faitz said it was yummy!
 In library, we talked and then we got books and then we left.

In reading we did inventors and read an article on main idea. In math we did related facts, word problems ,and time facts. In specials we went to music and played some games. The Hi Step came today for our last lesson.

We did a lot of multiplication and division math papers to help prepare us for our test on Thursday.. We did a friendship paper during specials. We watched a brain pop video on division. We we worked on main idea and our inventors poster. We also worked on our how to writing.

We completed our second Problem-Based Learning assignment. Our assignment was to find out how many muffins we need and drinks. We are working hard on this project.

Today we worked on our reading stamina.Next we read 'Safe Spot at Sea' and answer "Trash Trouble". Also we wrote our "BIG SIX"!!! assignment.Then  we practiced our multiplication  and a mini lesson on division.We also had P.E and learned how to hold a paddle and racket correctly. We did our research  project on inventors.  

We did a how to writing. In math  we had a times test and grass hopper paper on multiplication. We learned the associative property of multiplication. In Music we did a lot of songs and games .And Hi Step came and  we played  a game.

Today my class got a new student. We also did a practice time test. We worked hard on multiplication. We looked at patterns.Then we learned about inventors. It was fun!

For reading class  we did fluency read  and then we did reality/fantasy.In writing class we did types of irregular plural.In math we did a time test on multiplication facts. We are planning a budget to create a turkey in social studies/math.

Today in math we did distributive property of multiplication.  In P.E. we did free shots in basketball.   We studied reality and fantasy in ELA. We finished our persuasive writing prompt. We sequenced our favorite thing to do in order to explain the steps taken to do it.

We had an assembly for EFG -Education Funding Group. We did practice multiplication facts. We did a test on spelling and reading comprehension.

Today we did centers in ELA. We learned the distributive property of multiplication. We had fun in music.

We are reading good books. In writing  we did a fact and opinion paper. In math we did multiplication paper. With the  counselor  we did Red Ribbon things. We read during independent reading. We wrote in our journal and that is what we did today.

We read a story about the future concerning inventions that endanger our natural resources.. We wrote about how to keep our pets safe,healthy, and happy. We also created a 4 Square about a which relative could win a prize for being the best. This will become a persuasive piece of writing. We continued multiplication. We learned about Helen Keller and used Braille during library time.                                                                                                                                                                                  

We created a 4 Square in computers. We went over our new vocabulary and spelling words. We practiced 2 times 1 digit multiplication. We had our fall party!

Today we did a test on our spelling and comprehension. Also, we  wrote an argumentative 

letter about  if we should should not have sweet treats for school birthday parties . We did independent reading right before math . At math we did multiplication facts .

We did a fluency read, a close read on the Santa Mari, and we did a past and present paper.We had an assembly.Today in math we worked on multiplication.  We had our Celebration Assembly today.

We are working on problem and solution and retelling and summarizing in reading.In writing we wrote a persuasive paragraph about a boy sitting out the first half of a game and  wanting to play. In math we learned how to group to multiply.

Today we started with centers in ELA .Then we did math. we are studying multiplication. We also chose a partner and gave your partner math problems and they solved the problems. We created a Google account and sent Ms. Faitz an e-mail.

Today our class did centers during ELA.This week is Red Ribbon Week and today it was wacky day. We continued learning about multiplication and did a review of  subtraction and addition in math today.

Today in math class we leaned multiplication. In specials we leaned how to not do drugs and to stay away from them.We practiced our summarizing skills in reading and wrote a persuasive paragraph.Today's special activity was the Spelling Bee. Amelia is our class winner. Go Amelia! That was all we did today. It was great!

We got to make tree houses on paper in art. We had to give presentations on our ecosystem projects. We read to ourselves.We read a book called the wind and the sun.We took a pretest on multiplication and division.

Today our class went to art and library. It was so fun. We had an assembly, and we learned   fire safety  and saw a firetruck. We finished our ecosystem poster. During math class we practiced two digit subtraction.

In math class today we looked over our  math test.  In  Independent reading we did vocabulary, and in writing we did a problem and solution paper we also finished our unit test. We wrote s personal narrative using our 4 Square. During  P.E. class we played line tag and we got blind folded and tried  to find Items that were in the bucket and it was a challenge. We had fun the rest of the day. 

 We started our Unit Assessment.We Independent read after testing. We completed our addition and subtraction assessment. We worked on our ecosystem posters.

Today we read poetry with our face partner. We finished the letter to Ms. Faitz. We did and checked our time  tests. We watched a brain pop.  We read a spider paper and answered comprehension questions. we did a celebrate knowledge in specials. We did a frog paper.to show what the life of a frog, and we did a paper that it shows how much  timeline on cable T.V. We  have home work about planets. :)

Today  we had inside recess  because it was  raining. Our class had library time and art. We are reviewing for our reading test and working on three digit subtraction. We spent a little time  on our poster for our ecosystem.

Today is October 10, 2014.We took a spelling and comprehension test. After that we worked on our reading stamina.We all hoped we did a great job, and we wrote a personal narrative about our favorite  hobby. In math we practiced 3 digit subtraction. We had music and P.E. for specials.

Today we worked on a personal narrative for a grade WOW! Also we did a time test on subtraction in math. it was our very first subtraction time test! Also we worked with base ten blokes to help our understanding of place value. In P.E we made up our own game. We did more research on our ecosystem. We worked on citing our sources.

Today our class  wrote  about our  favorite hobby. We also did subtraction in math. Our class also did  research on certain places on earth.(ecosystems)

Today in reading our class did vocabulary and problem and solution from Treasures. In class we are doing the big 6 on ecosystems. We did two digit subtraction and addition word problems.
We had to figure out the operation.

Today in math class we practiced subtracting .Today's special was art, and we did a project about a picture you have to use water in your picture. Today we learned about the water cycle. That was very interesting. We started our research project today. We need to find a problem in our ecosystem.

We got to design an outdoor lab. It was so much fun! Today is a very special day it is homecoming!

Today for specials our class went to P.E. It was so fun !!!!!!! Our class read an article called "More Ice Would  Be Nice. "Today in math our class did subtracting problems. We took a comprehension and spelling test.

Today we wrote a letter to Ms. Faitz about our book we are reading we are reading. We read the article,  "Reindeer at Risk", and we are solved the questions. In math today we did three digit addition. We studied the water cycle in science.
