We had a nice day at the rock quarry and park. We finished the day by playing a cooperation game.

in class today we did a lesson on they're, their, and there. It  was fun. In ELA we did fables
and in art we watched Chicken Run.  At the end of the day we did social studies on government.

Field Day!

Students made Greek knucklebones, a game children played in Greece.

Today we played bingo for Cinco de Mayo. It was fun! We also got to play a math game. We completed the Gates comprehension section.

Today Hillside came to our school to sing a variety of songs including All about that Bass and Shake it Off . In reading we are reading Lucky Dog. We took our spelling test and the vocabulary of the Gates. We did a review sheet in math.

Today in reading class we read more about Beatrice. In PE we did cup stacking. In math we took a math test. We wrote about building a tree house  together, and we read at the end of the day and then we got  ready to go home.

Today we did cause and effect.Also we did centers.After that we did some reading time.During math we did mass and volume.For specials we had guidance.In guidance we did some top secret business and watched carrier path videos.Then we came  back and worked on a math packet.Then we worked on a addition sheet.After that we got stuff together and waited for the bell to ring.  

Students had a wonderful time at the Ice Cream Sundae party! I'd like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Curry and Mrs. Ryan for coming in and helping. I'd also like to thank all who sent in supplies...THANK YOU!

We did session 2 of the state  math test. We did Greece research. We also studied and mass and volume.

Today we went to music.We did our Greek research. We did our math part 1 state testing. Our  class got to do Independent reading or do a word search. We worked on our persuasive writing piece.
 

Students did a great job performing at with the Kansas City Symphony. What a wonderful experience!

Today we did math review sheets.  We started our  informative writing. We will persuade someone to play our favorite sport. We had art. It was fun.

In reading we read about rainbows and took session 2 of the Smarter Balance test. In specials we went to music and we did recorders.In math we did practice sheets.

In math today we did patterns and review.In P.E. we did stacking cups. In library we checked out books. We reviewed for and took session 1 of the ELA Smarter Balance test.

In math we did mass and volume. We read after we did work.  Ms. Faitz read  Dandelions to us and we discussed story elements. It was a good book. We had guidance and we did stuff with model magic and that is it.    

Today in math our class did a times test and our math packet. We also learned about grams and kilograms In art,the class filled in  spaces with objects made out of circles.The special activity for the day was studying  on ancient Greece life and writing down information about our personal opinion about our favorite sports.

Today in reading we did research on Ancient Greece. For math we did our math packets and math sheets .For specials we had p.e.

 We wrote and illustrated the setting of a book.

Today at music we acted out and colored pictures from the music. We did research about GREECE We told time and did a big writing assignment, and we got to read are novels then we did a bunch of math, and it was fun. We did some more reading at the end of the day.

We did research on Greece during ELA. We did telling time and our daily practice in math. We had our last DARE lesson.

For math we worked on our graphs. We also read after graphing. Today we did 2 papers on measuring to the nearest 1/4 inch. For specials we had guidance.We learned about the six career paths. We read and worked on compare and contrast in ELA.

Today we had our Third Quarter Celebration Assembly. We learned about point of view and compare and contrast in reading. We created a bar graph about our survey question.
We reviewed recess rules for our safety.

First we did a little math and a math packet. Then we worked on graphing. Today we went to music and watched a movie. We did independent reading.We did a thing on Ancient Greece. At the end of the day at school we played sparkle.We did sequencing on something we do.

During reading we read an  article about insect invaders, in writing we wrote a summary about a Greek story, and did a somebody wanted but so then. In specials we went to music, it was fun. We practiced our  recorders.

Today in writing, our class wrote a descriptive writing about our weekend.Today in math class we did timed test and studied data on line plots..Today in art we learned about the Troger Horse.

Today we had PE and music and it was Read Across America Week.  We went to two different classrooms and the teacher read to us it was fun.  In p.e we watched a video
about bone,  and we built bones. In music we sung. We went over our ELA unit test. It was fun all day.

Today in  math we did our math packets. We went to P.E. and library. In  P.E.we are learning how to play basketball .We also made different  class flags and voted on them it was a lot of fun! We love school!

When we got to school we went to go to the Suessical!When we got back we went to lunch and at lunch when we got done with our lunch we could shoot baskets.After that we had indoor recess. we also did a argumentative  writing.Then we did a little amount of math.Last we read until bus bells.

Today in reading we finished our Unit Assessment. In math we did our data pretest. Today we read a article about how matter changes. We studied the color wheel in art.

Today we did our math and reading unit assessments.We did some review. We played trash at 3:00 as a reward for good behavior.

We did Wednesday  math from our packet and reviewed area and perimeter. We reviewed for our unit assessment in reading. We wrote about our towns for build a town.

We got to read  our books after the reading test.  We had a spelling test. We did perimeter and area  and we did a time test. We worked on our build a town, and we had art.

We did not have RTI this morning, but Ms. Faitz read us a story on a young Harriet Tubman. We did a Harriet Tubman paper which had 10 problems. For math we did build a town and our weekly packet.

Today our class had to finish our paper about which pet we want between dog or cat. We also studied predicting and inferring. In math we did a paper on perimeter and area and Build a Town. We went to PE and had library check out.

Today we had RTI. We did fluency and groups presented their Civil Rights posters. We wrote in our writing journals. We did a convincing paper. We did an area and perimeter paper.
 

For math we did math fact papers and area. For specials we went to music and library. At music we played Musical Pitch Baseball, and at library we read a book called one Cool Friend. We took our spelling and comprehension tests in ELA. What was our day!

Today we did grammar sheets on verbs. We also did Perimeter and Area.We had a library lesson with Mrs. Halfman. She read us a story. We practiced author's purpose in ELA.

The special activity for the day was we practiced for the P.T.O. in P.E. In math we did a times test and studied perimeter. We did centers in ELA.

 

In independent reading we wrote a letter to Ms. Faitz about our book that we are reading and in reading were reading a book about Ruby Bridges. In math we did this little math card and last but not least in specials we went to PE and music.

We started the day off by going to R.T.I!!!When we got back we did Treasures and read Neighbors and Recycling they were both poetry. There were 3 question we had to answer. We had silent reading time and write about our book.    

      Soon we got ready for recess. We studied perimeter. We went to the library. 

We worked on build a town and we did a timed tests and we worked on perimeter and area. When we went to music we sang songs. We worked on author's purpose.

Today our class had independent reading before specials. Our class went  the counselors down in the dome. We read a book about  Ruby Bridges people hated Ruby going to the  all white Frantz school. We studied perimeter and worked on our Build a Town.

In math today we did build a town and perimeter and area. In specials we went to art and made fish out of clay. We worked on our Civil Rights project in ELA.

We danced at specials, and we did research on civil rights . We did a lot of ELA on cause and effect. We did a little math.

We had music. We got to read outside, and we got extra reces. We did research on Civil Rights.We got to do edu typing and extramath.

We read an article on Matthew Brady then we did a cause and effect paper. We  research in computer lab and in class on Civil Rights. We worked in our math packet.

Today we researched about civil rights. For reading class we did a cause and effect about Jackie Robinson. For math class we did a math sheet and a geometry test. Now we are reading our novels.

Reading- We did independent reading. We did a paper in math to review for our test on Monday. We did a timed test and we finished our packets of math. In specials we had library, and she read a book to us. In art we we learned about an artist named Venice Van Gogh. We our researching Civil Rights.

We did independent reading until we went to specials. We did geometry with shapes and we did attributes like I have 4 right edges, I have right 4 angles, my top and bottom edges are shorter horizontal lines that is one problem on all of are papers it was really fun! In music Mrs. Schaffer told us a nonfiction story about 4 boys and their town got ruined by hurricane Katrina and they had to go on top of there roof in order survive.

We worked on geometry in math and we worked on build a town. Kindness in specials was our theme. We did centers in ELA. We did keyboarding.

Today we read Washington Weed Whackers. We also compared and contrasted how they solved getting rid of spartina in Pudget sound, Washington. In writing, we did a persuasive writing piece on persuading someone to do something or get something. We did a drawing of are bed room or imaginary bed room out of shapes, also we did a build a town.  

Today we went over our last reading test. We got our new spelling and vocabulary words. We had fun learning about geometry. We did keyboarding and Xtramath in the computer lab.

Today we did some independent reading also known as DEAR TIME. In writing we did our review on a book or movie. In math we did a bunch of shapes. In specials we went to art and did Pic Collage   with i-pads also went to library!!!And we played sparkle!!!  

Today we did D.E.A.R. reading. In ELA we did centers. For writing we wrote a book or movie review. For math class we did a math sheets using tangrams. For specials we had lib. and art.

Today in math class my class did a time test.Today in P.E. my class learned dances.We read are books today. We worked on Build a Town and geometry in math. We did centers in ELA.

In math we did a time test and geometry terms. We reviewed subtraction. We had music it was so fun. We are doing science working with  a team.  Today we read our own books at are desk and carpet. We read about animals and how they have human like emotions.

Today we started RTI and had  independent reading time. We wrote a letter to Ms. Faitz about our novel. We learned about our Build a Town project for math and  social studies. It sounds exciting!

This is the first day back! We did our new vocab. words for reading class.Our class is learning about how people get along.In writing, we learned about action verbs and wrote about our winter break.We started geometry in math.We did a pretest on geometry. We had silent reading time today.
